Fantastic Picture of the Day is a powerful but simple picture of the day script. It contains a simple admin inferface to add pictures or edit/delete them, you can add a weeks worth of potds but it will only display them one by one with the others not accessible.
Ability to have more than one admin with different levels.
Has a simple template system so it can match the Internet site quite easily and only a couple templates to edit.
Finally easy to add to display on a website just a simple ssi include.
